Real help for couples who want their relationship to work
My work with couples is both professional and personal.
Years ago, while raising three school-age children in the suburbs of Chicago, I realized, painfully, my marriage was no longer sustainable. Living through that experience while finishing my master’s degree in clinical psychology gave me deep insight into how relationship conflict affects not only spouses, but entire families.
I started my career dedicated to helping couples and families navigate transitions in healthier ways. Over time, what I learned was this - when things fall apart in a marriage, and ending it seems the only solution, many couples don’t truly want to separate. They are often desperate, and don’t know what else to do. They want help repairing what feels broken.
Today, my practice focuses primarily on couples coaching and couples intensives, helping spouses and partners learn how to have healthy, growth-promoting relationships that include both compassion and conflict in a way that fosters deep understanding and connection.
In my Sausalito office, I work with couples who want deeper connection, trust, and intimacy. Couple’s intensives provide focused uninterrupted time to make meaningful progress quickly, often creating momentum that weekly sessions alone cannot.
If your relationship matters and you’re ready to move out of the same painful patterns toward real change, I invite you to reach out. The first step is a consultation where we can talk about what’s happening in your relationship and whether a couple’s intensive or coaching is the right fit. You don’t have to figure this out alone—support and a path forward are possible.
